Donna Barringer Neighbors,  BA, CMT

Donna Barringer Neighbors is a Nationally and State Certified Massage Therapist.  Donna graduated from the Florida College of Natural Health and began her Massage Therapy practice in Sarasota, Florida in the late 1990s.   Donna also completed her three Reiki levels. Donna moved her practice to the Blue Ridge Wellness Center in Forest, Virginia in the spring of 2000.  During the summer of 2004 she opened the Forest Massage & Wellness Center and expanded her practice to better meet the demands of her clientele. 

Donna is a central Virginia native and graduated from Lynchburg College in 1977 with a BA degree in Psychology.  In 1978 Donna became a certified ballroom dance teacher and moved to Sarasota, Florida where she live for the next 20 years.

Donna specializes in Relaxation, Deep Tissue, Swedish, Hot Stone, Medical Massage, Aromatherapy, Energy Balancing and Reiki, among many other modalities. Donna is a Reiki Master & Teacher.  She also specializes in additional alternative healthcare services, such as Ear Candling.  Ear Candling utilizes bees wax coated muslin shaped in a long cone.  Lighting the cone creates a vacuum that pulls out toxins, wax and any other debris that has accumulated in the ear canal.

Donna loves working with people and is committed to helping enhance health and well-being.

Nicole Long,  AS, CMT
ˇ@

Nicole Long, AS, CMT, a native, of Lynchburg, graduated in 2001, with honors, from Miller-Motte Technical College. She has an Associates Degree of Occupational Science, in Professional Massage Therapy, and is nationally certified and state licensed.

She recently relocated her practice to the Forest Massage and Wellness Center in Spring, 2007.  She is learning and growing as a therapist every day in her new atmosphere.

Nicole enjoys helping people in the healing process because it means that she has truly achieved her purpose in life. She specializes, in several different modalities; Swedish massage, hot stone therapy and deep tissue are just a few of her qualifications. Nicoleˇ¦s future holds everything positive that she can pass on through massage to all of her clients.

John Caldwell, CMT
ˇ@

John Caldwell, BS, CMT, joined the Forest Massage and Wellness Center, in Forest, in the fall of 2006.   SEQ CHAPTER \h \r 1He graduated from Goddard College in 1973. 

Caldwell completed his studies at the Natural Touch School of Massage Therapy, graduating in 1999.  He earned his national and state certifications in 1999. Caldwell has been teaching in the Massage Therapy program at Miller-Motte Technical College since the fall of 2001. 

His specialties include myofascial release, deep tissue, Swedish, soft tissue release, quasha and infant massage, as well as, many other modalities.  John teaches Tai Chi and Chi Gong around the Lynchburg area. 

Johnˇ¦s experience with chronic pain relief is extensive and includes work with fibromyalgia, restless leg syndrome and over use/repetitive use motion injuries.  His stress relief and relaxation techniques are superb.
